We have been providing professional EHS consulting services in the USA and Mexico since 1992 under the former name of ECM Environmental Services, Inc.

In the USA, Adastra provides EHS consulting services in west Texas and southern New Mexico. Adastra is a recognized State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) entity and Pre-Certified by TXDOT to conduct Hazardous Materials Initial Site Assessments (Phase 1 ESA's). Our main line of services include Phase I&II ESA's, NEPA assessments, Storm Water Plans and Permits, Hazardous waste management, soil, groundwater, wastewater and waste sampling and testing, recyclable materials management, compliance audits and regulatory permitting.

Adastra operates in Mexico as Adastra S de RL de CV. And provides EHS consulting services to leading manufacturing, transportation, and service corporations with operations in Mexico. Our Mexican team has a deep knowledge of the country's EHS regulatory framework and fully understands the language and cultural aspects in Mexico. Our main line of services in Mexico include EHS compliance audits, Phase I & II assessments, environmental sampling and remediation, environmental permitting, facility closures, interaction with regulatory agencies in Mexico, waste management and recyclable materials management, and OHSAS 18001, ISO 50,001 and EICC audits and support.

Certifications and Registrations

REPA (Registered Environmental Property Assessor) is a specialty certification for persons engaged in the inspection and evaluation of environmental risk in real property. The federal government's Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) recognizes the REPA credentials in bid proposals as do many banks and the U.S. Air Force.
ADASTRA Ecological Services, Inc. has successfully met the established requirements of the State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program to be recognized as a HUB.
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program was created to provide a level playing field for small, minority- and women-owned companies wanting to do business with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) and other agencies receiving federal funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT).

Adastra in Mexico is a Registered Training Entity with the Mexican Labor Ministry (STPS) to provide Health and Safety training courses with official recognition. Adastra has capabilities to prepare and submit environmental permits in various states in Mexico. Local personnel are registered to validate contingency plans, and to prepare and submit environmental impact assessments and other environmental permits and studies. Adastra has professional agreements with certified laboratories and entities to conduct occupational studies.


Adastra's team of professionals bring to your service twenty three years of experience in Mexico. We began offering professional environmental consulting services in Mexico in 1992. We are pioneers in our field considering that the Mexican formal environmental regulatory framework started in 1988.


In 1992 ECM Environmental Services, Inc. was born as the environmental consulting arm of ECM (Engineers-Construction-Managers) International, Inc. a construction management company. Responding to a growing demand of services, in 2003 ECM Environmental opened its first international office in the City of Juarez, México. In 2007, we began offering waste management consulting services and Adastra Ecological Services, Inc.(USA) and Adastra S de RL de CV (Mexico) were born. In 2012 be began offering OHSAS 18,001 and ISO 50,001 support. In 2013 a corporate consolidation was made to gradually transfer all EHS services from ECM to Adastra. Today we remain strong and continue to grow and develop new services as required by the industry.
